The Georgian period is known for it's large airy rooms with big windows. There was lots of detailed architecture especially on country homes and town houses. The town house is very reminiscent of the Georgian period which is when they first stated to appear.

Many of our favorite houses from TV and film are from the Georgian period like Elizabeth Bennets home in Pride and Prejudice.
